Nest Mini bluetooth disconnects from iPad and can’t reconnect until several hours

This occurs on both nest mini speakers I bought in Spring this year and also this week. It has always happened. I have an iPad Air 5th Gen (with latest updates) and pair it with the speaker using bluetooth to listen to media on various platforms. Everytime, after a few minutes, the iPad will disconnect from the nest mini.

Additionally, I will try to reconnect the iPad to the nest mini in the bluetooth settings, however it will not work. I even try enabling pairing mode in the google home app, however it will still not connect. The only way for it to connect back is to wait several hours or the next day and I can connect again, only for the same scenario to occur later. It will also be able to connect again if I factory reset the nest mini and redo the setup and bluetooth connection. However, it will not get rid of the disconnecting scenario.

Please help!

So I tested it again today and one thing I noticed was that after the nest mini disconnects from my iPad, it cannot connect to any other bluetooth device. For example, I tried to connect it to my Pixel 4a afterwards however it wasn’t discoverable in the bluetooth settings, even when I enabled pairing mode in google home app or asked the nest mini to connect to blueooth.

Also, this issue doesn’t occur on my google home mini (the old speaker).
