I moved to new home with unifi network gear. I have Nest Audio that works perfectly on the same WiFi. But when i connect Mini i get the following error in Google Home app. I have done factory reset on tens of times.
Your Nest Mini was setup successfully but can't be found. Make sure your mobile device and Nest Mini are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Turn off AP isolation
If AP isolation is enabled on your Wi-Fi router, you will need to disable it. Learn more here.
I have no idea how to proceed. Unifi console shows the Nest Mini connection is perfect and I can ping the Nest Mini device from my laptop console, but Google Home app won't see it and I cannot see at steaming device anywhere. Running out of ideas.

Did you check out whether AP Isolation is enabled on your UniFi router?

Yes. AP Isolation is off. Nest Audio speaker also worked well on the same network.
Apparently the issue was my Pixel 6 phone. I brought my iPad from work, installed the Google Home app and voilaaa... connecting the speaker worked the first try. It's bizarre that Google Pixel phone cannot configure Google smartspeaker...but so it is, apparently. Now everything works.
