From the Google Home app home screen long press on your Hub device icon and on the next screen you will see the 'Cast my screen' option.
This is a community forum supported by other users and community specialist's so unfortunately we don't know if Google has plans to introduce this feature. The best way of getting your thoughts, feedback or feature requests to the people that can make changes is by submitting feedback as detailed within the link below.
I wanted to check in and see if you managed to see Cathal_S post? Please let me know if you are still having issues with your device. I would be happy to assist, and ensure your device is working as intended.
Thanks so much Cathal_S for the helpful reply.
Hi Jake and Cathal,
I understand that a screencast is a "video" of the screen display on your device. If Nest cannot access my Drive documents, what am I screen casting?
I did submit a comment to Google but have not received a response.
Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to follow up and see I could be of any help. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need assistance, feel free to start a new thread in the community and we’ll be happy to help.
Thanks for posting.
It's truly clever and helpful if documents can be viewed on our Nest displays, however, this feature is not available on any Google Nest displays. We always target a better experience for our users and we’d like to take this opportunity to improve our products to meet our user’s expectations. In line of this, we want to encourage you to send feedback from your end and we’re hoping for all the possibilities by taking our user’s feedback and suggestions.
