My Nest audio just went dead. I found quite a few of the same reports. I went through the suggestion and it did not come back. My device is out of warranty, but I can still get it covered from my credit card extended warranty. The only thing I need is to get a repair estimate. Is there a list of repair centers that I can get an estimate from?

My Google nest speakers also went dead exactly 2 years which is out of warranty. I also had it paired as stereos. Doing a factory reset didn't work by muting and pressed the centre. Doing a hard factory reset by counting 10 times plug and unplug the power didn't work. I don't know what to do now. Google don't make their speakers last. It's annoying

The Google tech was very patience and guided me to try and reset both of my nest speakers but to no solution. The weird thing is the both speakers went dead at the same time exactly 2 years after purchase. He escalated the issue to his manager but they refused to either give me a discount to purchase another set of speaker Nor will they replace it. From the symptoms I see, one speaker is like trying to connect with 4 moving lights, no sound and the other one just hang on with 2 lights. I live in Vancouver , Canada and I do not have power surge in my area so that can't be the reason for breaking the speakers. I have been using Alexa for many years and thought I like to go into Google assistant eco system as I have a pixel 8 pro. The hard reset of plug and unplugging 10 times is a tedious process. Even the Google tech couldn't do it. I think there was an update and the updates broke my speakers. These speakers aren't the best, no bass, only treble. I am very disappointed with Google products. If this issue is not resolved, I won't be buying any of Google speakers from now on. There are many good Bluetooth speakers out there that I can purchase.
