Nest hub changing to light mode

My google nest hub keeps changing to light mode every few hours even though I have it set to dark mode. I have tried multiple factory resets but nothing works.

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing with your Google Nest Hub 2nd gen. Kindly provide the System firmware version of your display. Swipe up to the bottom of its screen > Settings > Device information.
