Nest hub showing incorrect home address on maps. Address in settings is correct.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, yes, I am still experiencing the issue. I have been back and forth with Google Support about it and we are still trying to figure it out. At this point we have checked the address in all the settings - in the Home app, for each device, and on my Google account - and they are all correct. I have done a factory reset on the hub. I have also reprogrammed my voice match, both generally and specifically for the hub. Got any other ideas?

Hey there, 

I'm sorry to hear that you're still having issues with this. 
I just have a few more questions to get a better understanding of what is happening. 

  • When you ask your Nest Hub what the weather is or what time it is there, is it giving the correct answer in terms of location?
  • When did you notice this start happening?
  • What firmware are you on?

Hi, thanks for the nudge. This has been an issue since we installed the Hub in mid-October. The hub gives me the correct location for weather AND it gives me the correct directions to work. This is only an issue during the evening rush. My firmware version is 1.56.276689. Please help! Thank you!

Hey there, 

Sorry to hear you're still having issues with this. Just to confirm, the Nest Hub gives you the correct location for weather and gives you correct directions, but it has the incorrect address showing on Maps? And it's only ever occasionally that this happens? I would recommend sending feedback directly to our engineering team as well so that they have this information and can investigate this a bit further.
