Hi Icon1k,

Thanks for posting in the community.

I understand that your Dining Room Nest Mini is connecting to your Wi-Fi network, and you've confirmed it has some internet access because it successfully streams your favorite radio station. However, the speaker throws a 'not connected to internet' error when you try to play Spotify. I appreciate the troubleshooting efforts you have tried to resolve the inconvenience. I'm happy to look into this for you.

Before I start further troubleshooting, let me ask you a few questions:

  • What’s the firmware version of your speaker? You can use this Google Help Center article as a reference: Find your device’s firmware version.
  • Is your router at a hotel, school, dorm, or business?
  • Have there been any recent changes to your Wi-Fi network or home environment?
  • Was there any type of electrical outage around the time the issue began?
  • How long did the device work as intended before the issue started?
  • How far from the router is the speaker?
  • Is your speaker linked to a 2.4 GHz or a 5 GHz WiFi network?
  • Are there any other networking devices on the network aside from the wireless router, such as an extender, repeater, or another access point?
  • Are you able to play music using other platforms such as YouTube, Pandora, etc.?
  • Are you able to play Spotify on other devices?

Please reply with the requested information so we can continue troubleshooting and find a solution.

Best regards,

Virna
