Hallo everybody. Glad I found this community, looking forward to participate and contribute. I am an obsessive Google Homer! But two things I am experiencing some trouble with......
1. GA has decided to communicate in Japanese. All the commands I give in English are executed perfectly fine. The text / conversation on my Android and Chromebook both in English, but for some reason she has decided that I need to brush up on my Japanese...bizarre. I unplugged and re-installed the device - no change. Very curious to know how this happened and how I correct it. I have had the Nest Mini for months and this has never happened.
2. OK, so struggle number 2: GA (via Nest Mini) request that I do a voice match which I do successfully using my Mobile phone. I would ask her questions re reminders etc. not long after and she would respond (via Nest Mini) that she cannot recognize my voice and I need to do a Voice match again. However, without doing another voice match and 20 minutes later, she answers the questions. Later on, I do attempt another voice match on the mobile phone and it says that the voice match has been done successfully previously and we need not do it again.
Any thoughts/suggestions/similar experiences?
Please don't see this as a complaining session - I really want to see our GA work on all devices.
