Nest mini speaker with family link

I have multiple nest mini speakers around my home and also have 2 children (13 and 9 years old) being supervised through the Google family link app.

Some speakers appear for each child and they can use Google assistant on them and get personal results (the test being asking "What's my name?"). However, I have added two new speakers to my home and cannot get personal results for my children on either. They don't suggest in the device list through family link and I have already added the "add child to new devices" for both.

I have tried to access the speaker settings through the home app on the children's devices but neither displays the cog settings option on each speaker.

What is the solution to this please as I know it's possible as they get personal results on some speakers already so am sure it's not an age/account restriction thing?

Hey there,

Sorry for the late reply. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. Do you mind me asking if you have tried to reset the devices? I also found an article with more details on personal results. Please let me know if you are still having any trouble from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.

Best regards,
Jake
