Nest mini will not recognize my premium YouTube account

Try as I might I cannot get the mini to recognize and play specific music I read the other thread that was closed in which the moderator said the solution was found but I don't believe that end user work around is a solution, more a band aid. I don't want to use my phone to cast I want the nest mini to recognize the account and act accordingly..... Any suggestions.

Make sure that you set up your Google Nest Mini with the same account that you're using to subscribe to YouTube Premium. Here's how: open the Google Home app > Select the Account icon on the upper right > Ensure that the email address matches your YouTube account. If not, factory reset your speaker and configure it for the correct account.
