Just purchased a new Google Nest Hub Max to replace my original one that was purchased a few years ago. Everything setup great and the first trial run of video chatting with my parents was fine. Now video chatting again with parents and only we are echoing on everything we say. They do not hear our echo. We've turned the volume down, moved away from the device, looked into settings in the Home app, but no luck. Suggestions?? I purchased a new device because the old one was doing this too so it's very frustrating!!

We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing this with your Google Nest Hub Max. A few things I'd like to ask-- how far is the Google Nest Hub Max from the router? Does it also echos even when making a regular phone call? Let's try these steps and see if you will notice any changes.
Once checked, you can perform a complete reset to your Google Nest Hub Max and see if this would make any changes.
