New Home

Have an elderly parent in a care home. Is the easiest way to setup a display there by creating a new home in the app configuring the wifi from there?

Following, same issue. Mom does not have a google account or a smartphone, just want this to send pictures to from the family. Should I create a new google account for her?

I havent done it yet but I think you just have to create a new home in your app then launch it in your Moms home to find the new device and setup the wifi. Then instruct it to display whatever album in your google pics.

Do I need to create a new google email for her?

I would say no but you might get prompted for a email.
