My iPhone was set up perfect to monitor everything but I lost it and had to get new phone how do I set up everything on the new phone I downloaded the app and it recognizes that I have an account but phone won’t connect to devices

In our household we have twice replaced iPhones, in both cases keeping the same phone number. In both cases, all we had to do was to log back onto the Google Nest app and the Google Home app on the new phones with the same Google Account we were using previously on each phone, and all our settings were intact.
