Night mode

I have my device on my night stand and I don't want to hear a loud "good night announcement" every time I hit the good night button.

The perfect solution for that should probably be to enable night mode and DND. However, even though I have set up a schedule for night mode it never gets enabled according to it. It keeps getting disabled and reset.

Why is this?
