Hola, quisiera saber si el error que sale al enlazar google home(google mini nest) con LG thinq (television) ya fue solucionado. Si alguien ya sabe como arreglarlo.

Hi AdolfoValdivia,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I understand you'd like to know if you can connect your Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) to your LG TV. I'm glad to help with the information you need! To gather some more details, I'd like to ask the following questions:

  • Is your phone connected to the same WiFi band as your LG TV?
  • Is your LG TV already set up in the LG ThinQ app?
  • Do you see any error code when you try to link LG ThinQ on the Google Home app?

Let me know if you have any additional information; it’ll be helpful.

Best regards,
Juan

Hi AdolfoValdivia,

Thank you for following up! and the detailed information you shared earlier. I see from the picture that the LG ThinQ app isn't recognizing any compatible devices. Let's work together to find a solution. To help diagnose this issue, I have a couple of questions:

  • Could you please confirm your LG TV's model?
  • Is your LG TV compatible with Google Assistant Voice Control?

For now, I'd like to suggest checking the following steps to ensure everything is in order:

  1. Go to the Google Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iOS) and download the LG ThinQ app.
  2. Open the app and either log in with an existing LG account or create a new one.
  3. Add a Device: Tap the "+" icon or "Add a Device" button on the app's home screen
  4. Select Device: Choose "Select Device" and then select "TV" from the list.
  5. Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure your smartphone and LG TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  6. Follow On-Screen Instructions.

The app will guide you through the remaining steps, which may include:

  • Scanning for Devices: The app will search for your TV on the network.
  • Entering a PIN Code: A PIN code will be displayed on your TV screen, which you'll need to enter into the app.

Please keep me posted.

Regards,
Juan
