No option to pair identical Google Home Max speakers in stereo

In following the instructions to pair my identical two Google Home Max speakers, there is no option for "Stereo Pair" underneath the "Audio" settings.  I have rebooted the devices and performed the troubleshooting steps.  Please advise.  Thank you!

System firmware (for both): 275994
Cast firmware (for both): 1.56.275994z

Google Home App version: 3.21.1.8

Hi @mruptown 

I'll check with our Community Specialists to see if there are any ongoing/known issues with pairing the Max speakers.

In the meantime do a full factory reset to see if that helps-On the back of Max, press and hold the factory reset button, located near the power cord, for about 12 seconds.
