Not starting up

My Google nest hub 2nd Gen stuck on g screen.

I tried to factory reset, after resetting it hang on g screen. Please help

Sorry to hear that your Google Nest Hub (2nd generation) is stuck on a G icon. A few questions: are you using the power adapter that came with the device? Have you tried to plug the device into a different power source?


The issue occurs when the device is not properly reset. Please make sure not to hold the volume buttons down while you plug in the power cord, because the device will switch to recovery mode and won’t load past the “G” logo.

My unit has the same issue, except it only occurs when the mic switch is turned off.

(This only affects the screen, as the speaker and buttons still work normally.)

Thanks for posting. Can you share a video (as an attachment or link) showing this behavior? Also, are you still using the official cord that came with your Google Nest Hub device and have you tried to plug it into a different power outlet?

Tried into another outlet with the official cord. No success. It seems like the only way to start up successfully is to leave the mic switch turned on.

(Even when the screen is stuck at the G logo, the casting functions and volume buttons work normally. Speakers are working OK.)
