I have been through all the steps to Reset my Google Home and tried to call customer support. They then made me go through all of the steps I had just completed while they watched. Their resolution was that my product purchased in 2020 has a well known unrepairable issue and it is now obsolete. Their solution was to purchase another Google product and try again. I find this completely unacceptable. Yes I bought a product created in 2016 but if it had so many issues why was it still sold in stores. Absolutely ridiculous.

Hi MarcelB,
Thank you for reaching out to the community. I apologize that you're having trouble resetting your Google Home and contacting customer support, but it isn't helping. I understand how frustrating this can be. Let's work together to find a solution.
For further assistance, I need to ask a few questions:
May I know the case ID from customer support?
What type of Google Home device do you try to reset?
May I know the trouble you're experiencing with your Nest device?
Please keep me posted. I look forward to your response.
Regards,
Byron

Hi Byron,
Thanks for the response. I unfortunately did not recieve the techs ID or if it was given I did not log in since the call had not helped.
I have the Google Home the original I believe the cylindrical one, mesh at the bottom and solid top with one button.
As far as the issue goes I could not connect any device after multiple attempts and multiple resets and then doing the same with the tech utilizing Techsee
