I have a baby that we decided to play ambient sounds while she sleeps. Mostly we just "play the sound of rain." She sleeps ############hrs usually (thank goodness) but playing ambient sounds only plays for 12hrs and then stops. Is there a way to increase this or should I just find an app that can cast sounds to the speaker?
Also, recently I've noticed it just randomly stops playing sometimes. This can be frustrating because the sounds really helps her stay asleep and when it stops, she begins to wake up a bit and that would force me to wake up. Is this a known issue?

Ours stops a few times in the middle of the night.

Yes, same issue. It only plays for 12 hours and then shuts off. I'm not sure why I cannot just have it loop until I shut it off or at least a setting to extend it in the home app or something.

Hey folks,
As of now, Ambient sounds will continue to play for 12 hours if not turned off. We're always working for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback. You can send feedback on your Google Home. If you have additional questions, feel free to submit another post and provide as many details as possible as I'll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Best,
Alex

Thanks for confirming. You can take this as my feedback and request to give it a user defined time limit option in the app or something. Or extend the default time to 18hrs.
