Unfortunately don't have much data to go off of, but while casting music to my Nest (mini) speaker and my Google Home 1st Gen speaker, I will randomly get booted off. The music will stop playing, and a moment later the device will indicate that I've been disconnected (it plays a sound, my Google Home app will say I'm disconnected, etc).
I'm playing the music from the Spotify app on my phone. Initially, I was selecting the smart speakers through the Spotify app, but that has always been fraught with errors (it's only able to establish a connection with the smart speakers about half the time and gets booted off about as often). So lately I've been selecting the smart speakers through the Google app and casting my audio to them from there. However, I'm still getting disconnected sporadically and it's been happening more often lately.
Is this a smart speaker issue? A wifi connectivity issue? A Spotify issue?
I've reinstalled Spotify a couple times on my phone and power cycle the smart speakers often to no avail.
