Read ONLY the current reminder

Hi there!

When my Nest Hub 2 announces one of my reminders, it says "There is a reminder for *me*" but when I ask what's the reminder for/ what's my reminder, it repeats back all/several of the reminders I have set.

I'm obviously not always next to my Display to read the screen or have my phone in my hands at all times (hence the point of a VOICE ASSISTANT), so is there a way or phrasing for me to get my Nest to announce only the reminder that is actually due and not my entire list of reminders? Or do I have to stop what I'm doing and physically go to my display to see whatever I need to be reminded about?

I have just posted about this as well.  I now have to say, "what my notification ?"  or like you, get a pile of them read out.

Not been fixed yet, it is still saying a list of reminders when i say, what is my reminder.  Did work fine for years untilla few weeks ago.

Hello there.

 

The issue is still the same. There seems to be no current way or phrasing to get the voice assistant to alert out loud about ONLY THE CURRENT REMINDER. 

If you guys could be of help on this, would be much appreciated.

Still not sorted, if i say, ok google what is my reminder, it then reads out about 4 of the last ones, even though i have already been to these.  It used to work up to a few months ago.

The reminder that was announced, are they all active reminders? Have you tried deleting all your reminder and create a new one?

Yes, i have tried all ways to get it working as it did. I have 2x mini 1x Home hub 1x Display hub, same on any device.

Hi, done the troubleshooting steps, no better.

Is there a easy way to remove all reminders?  can only tick one at a time, and have 900+ to clear, can then see if that works.

Hey martin999,

 

Try using this command "Delete all of my reminders." Once done, try creating 2 reminders to see if you'll get the same result.

I deleted all my reminders, had to do one at a time as the command of delete all my reminders does not work.  With all reminders deleted, I put in four reminders spaced over time. But it still came back when it said I had a reminder, I asked what is my reminder and it listed all four of them, not just the current one for that minute.

We appreciate your efforts in doing those steps. 

We'd like to check, what country you're located in? Also, what's the language and region set on your phone where your Google Home app is installed? 

 

Could you try asking your Nest Hub what's your Reminder on a specific time? ( What's my reminder today at 3 PM?

Have checked language etc, all set fine.

If i ask about a reminder at a particular time that i have set, it justs reads that reminder, so thats fine.

It only seems to be when i have a reminder come up, i reply with 'whats my reminder' and get a few read out, even though they have already been read out at the time.  The only why in past few months to get the one reminder at that time, is to say 'whats my notification' instead of whats my reminder.

Yes, i have left feedback through the device.  This issue has been ongoing for months, used to work fine.  Just cant now say 'whats my reminder' as it list a few of past reminders that i have already been informed about.
