Repeating photos

I have my Google Nest Hub Max set to show photos from selected albums in Google Photos - I have selected dozens of albums but the display simply shows the same few photos over and over (mainly from the “Recent Highlights” album).

Is there a way to “reset” the photos so that I get a more varied selection?

Hi GeoffT44,

Thanks for reaching out.

Have you already tried to change the photo frame settings of your Google Nest Hub Max? To check that, you can follow these steps:

Google Home app:

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. Touch and hold your device's tile.
  3. At the top right, tap Settings and then Photo Frame and then adjust the settings you want.

Nest display:

  1. From the bottom of your Nest display screen, swipe up.
  2. Tap Settings .
  3. Tap Photo Frame and then adjust the settings you want.

If you have Voice Match enabled, you can also say “Hey Google, change Photo frame” to open Photo frame settings on your Nest display.

Also, to answer your question, there is no way to reset the photos available on live albums.

Hope this answers your question.

Best,

Princess

Thanks for the response - changed the selected Albums and now I leave it up to Google 🙂

Hi GeoffT44,

Thanks for the update. Glad to know that it's already working on your end.

Since this has been resolved, I'll consider this as complete and will lock the thread in 24 hours. Feel free to start a new one if you need assistance with your Google Nest speakers and the community would gladly assist you.

Best,

Princess
