Screen light on nest

The screen on my nest is dark. I brighten the light in settings/display but it is still dark if I get close I can see the screen is working; any tips would be helpful. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out. Let’s further look into it. On the display settings, is there an “A” on the brightness icon? If yes, tap the brightness icon again to toggle Ambient EQ off. Reboot your Google Nest Hub by unplugging its power cable for a minute. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset.
