Hello,

I got a Google Nest Hub today, set it all up with my iPhone and wanted to try and add a recipes from my phone.
I read online to used the Google app, find a recipe and either click the cook button or send to Google Home button.
I can’t see those buttons anywhere. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you!

Hey Jasgui,

Thanks for reaching out.

Make sure your phone and Google Nest Hub are connected to the same network and within 15-20 feet of your router. Also, the Google Account signed into your mobile device's browser should be the same account you used to link to your display. Try using a different phone to see if you'll get the same result.

Best,

Alex

Alex, I have the same concern as Jasgui although I am using a Google Pixel 3a and connecting to Allrecipes or Whisk where I have created personal recipes and want to add to my Google Cookbook on the Nest Hub Max. I am using the same email account on both the Hub Max and Pixel and am in the same room with the router, Hub Max and Pixel -

I don't see those buttons on any recipes.

Thanks,

Rick_n_Maine

Google support confirmed to me this morning that there are no options currently available to import personal recipes into the Cookbook. Only a search of most popular recipes are provided in a search. They did take a 'feature request' tp potentially add this as a feature in the future. The NY Times article was incorrect: https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/blog/cooking-with-google-nest-hub-max/
