Sensitivity Setting

I have a Google Mini about 12" from my head. The sensitivity is set to +2. In the next room with an open door, I have a Google 10" display. The sensitivity is set to -2. When I speak to Google, the display in the other room usually responds. I can hardly hear the response. How can I get the speaker near my head to respond?

Thank you for reaching out. Oh no! That is definitely an odd issue that the closest Google Nest Mini is not responding to your commands. Let's try to troubleshoot this issue and find a solution.

 

  • Could you try to reboot and Factory Data Reset your Google Nest Mini? Are there any improvements? 
    • A factory reset will reset your Google Nest or Home speaker or display to its default factory settings. 
    • Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.

Did a factory reset on the speaker next to my head. No improvement.
