Ciao ho 3 Google Nest

Cosa devo fare?

Hi Arma78,

Thanks for reaching out to our community. I understand that your two Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) devices are consistently displaying the error message 'A problem occurred. Please try again later' when queried, while your Google Nest Hub works fine, even though all three share the same fixed IP/beta firmware setup. I appreciate you taking the time to explain this inconsistent behavior. I'm glad to help you with this.

To get started, please provide some more information by answering these questions:

  • Are you using the latest version of the Google Home app? If not, you can learn how to update it here: Update the Google Home app.
  • Could you please double-check if you are logged into the Google Home app with the exact same Google account as the one that the failing displays are linked to?
  • Is the operating system of your smartphones updated?
  • Are you using an Android phone or an iPhone to control your displays?
  • Would you kindly confirm whether your displays are linked to a 2.4 GHz or a 5 GHz WiFi network?
  • Are your Google Nest devices connected to the same WiFi network as your mobile device?
  • Could you please check if there is something obstructing the microphone of the Google Nest devices?

In the meantime, please verify if your home address information is complete in your Google Home app settings: town name, street address, state, and zip code. Here are the instructions:

  • Open the Google Home app.
  • At the top right, tap your account.
  • Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Google Nest devices. If you find it is not the right account, you can switch accounts by tapping the triangle next to the Google account, then tap another account or “Add another account.”
  • Tap “Manage your Google account” and then “personal info.”
  • Under “Addresses,” tap Home or Work.
  • Enter your address.
  • Tap “Save.”

Thanks for your kind attention; I will be looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,

Virna
