Help please I have bought the google nest hub set that up fine I also bought the google nest Audio 5420 when trying to set that up I get as far as select region and that’s as far as it will go on the google home app I have uninstalled the speaker uninstalled the hub and uninstalled the app and reinstalled all but still getting the same thing get to select region  and it stops

I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should, and we appreciate the troubleshooting that you did. Which country are you contacting us from? What language are you using in your Google Home app? You can use US English and observe if this will make a difference. You can also use another phone to further isolate the issue. Check out the steps below on how to change the language using your Google Home app.

 

To change your language:

  1. On your mobile device, open the Google Home app .
  2. At the top right, tap your account and then Assistant settings Languages.
  3. Tap your current language choose a new language.
