Hi, I've a Sony Tv Bravia, purchased last October.

When i use Google home Search for a film, the search performs only on Netflix, Primevideo & Disney. I've also other streaming apps, such as Infinity, Raiplay but when I search for a film Google is unable to get information if a film is on those platform. how to fix it? Thank you.

Hey there sesacom,

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience on this! Were you able to figure out how to add those services to your search? If not, I'd be happy to help out! I would encourage you to check out this article on how to get recommendations that are relevant to you. It will show you how to link services that you are using to allow them to be included in searches and recommendations. However, these options aren't available for all shows and movies on every streaming service.

I hope that helps you out, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran

Hi Jean, thank you for your answer!

I've seen the article but I can't add Netflix because in my Google TV app (mobile) or on Google Home (TV) there's no Netflix choice to flag.

I've only Primevideo, Disney, Viki...

Thank you,

Sergio

Hey there sesacom,

No problem! Are you able to add Netflix using these instructions in particular? If not, double-check that your Google Home up is up-to-date.

I look forward to your response.

Best regards,

Jeran

Thank you again, Jeran.

I've followed the instructions, trough the Google Home app, I insert user and password for Netflix, then I chose my account (we have a 5 people account on Netflix), then the screen return to Google Home with the message "Your account has not been connected, try again later".

Of course! That is strange for sure, I don't imagine you have another device, such as a phone or tablet, to try linking Netflix with? Either that, or log out of your Google Account on the Google Home app, then log in and try again. Also, make sure that your Google Home is up-to-date!

Best regards,

Jeran

Yes, I'm using a mobile device to try to connect my Netflix account.

Indeed on my TV I can't find Netflix to chose to connect on my services. Anyway, how to log out from Google Home App? There is no a "disconnect" function.. thank you!

Hey there sesacom,

I'm really sorry about the delayed response on this thread, things have been a bit hectic. Were you able to get Netflix connected to your Google Home app? If not, there are a couple of other things we can check. Let me just ask you a couple of questions:

  • Do you have the Netflix app installed and signed in to on your phone?
  • What model of phone do you have?

Here is a thread I found on the Google Assistant forum where James M. gave some suggestions that may be helpful to your case. Let me know if you had any more questions!

Best regards,

Jeran

Hi sesacom,

Since this thread hasn't had activity in a while, we're going to close it to keep content fresh.

We hope you were able to get the help you need from the info provided by Jeran but if you're still having trouble, please reinstall the Google Home app and try linking your Netflix account. Also, there's no option to logout your Google Account in the Google Home app. You can only unlink or remove it from the app.

If you have other questions and concerns, feel free to submit another post and provide as many details as possible so that others can lend a hand. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help, Jeran.

Regards,

Jennifer
