I looked for an answer online and couldn't find one.
I have a speaker group with 3 Google devices (Google home, mini, and hub; all 1st gen) and an Harman-Kardon (HK) one. They all have static IPs set up.
The way I understand it, casting sets one of the speakers as the 'leader'. Using the Poweramp app, tI Can see that the IP of the group constantly switches between one of the Google devices and the HK one.
When the IP of the group corresponds to one of the Google device (usually the mini), all 4 speakers work. When it is the HK device, only that speaker works.
This is completely random. How do I fix the IP of the speaker group / its leader? Is there another method?

Hi Thierryw,
Thanks for posting in the Community! I'm sorry to hear that your speaker group is constantly switching IP addresses. To help me understand better, could you please clarify if this issue is only occurring when using the Poweramp App, or is it happening with other apps as well?
Keep me posted.
Regards,
Axel

Hi Axel
It's happening with Pocket Casts, YT music...
The reason I use Poweramp is in order to check the IP address of the Google home group. It constantly oscillates between two different devices: a Google home mini and an HK citation one mkiii. When the group has the same IP as the mini, everything is fine. When it is the citation it only plays on that speaker.
The only reason I run Poweramp is to check IP addresses.

Hi Thierryw,
Thank you for your prompt reply and comprehensive information. If the speaker group functions correctly when a Google device is assigned to its IP address, then the issue likely lies with the HK device. My recommendation would be to give them a shout, they would be the best to check it for you. However, please share your feedback on this situation. We're eager to hear from you.
Regards,
Axel.
