Speaker group suddenly stops playing Spotify

For 2 years I have been using my speaker group without any problems. Since 4-6 weeks the Group stops playing music suddenly after 1 to 5 minutes. I have reset to factory settings, reinstalled spotify, recreated the group. Doesn't help. 

Using the speakers separately works fine.  Please help!

Hi arnold05,

 

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? When did your issue begin? Were there any recent changes made?

 

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first: 

 

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

 

Once done, kindly see if individual devices can play Spotify. Also, it would narrow things down if you can check if other music services are doing the same thing to either your group or individual devices.
