Speaker wake-up: sorry something went wrong, try again in a few seconds"

We have two Google Home speakers. Apparently there was an update. Now, everytime a speaker "wakes up" (e.g., "Hey Google...") there is a long pause followed "sorry something went wrong, try again in a few seconds" and then you have to repeat your command/question. This has rendered the speakers useless.

Fix?

I had the same issue with the Google HUB I just got during black friday. Logging into my router and disabling IPv6 fixed the issue. A google search will reveal this is a VERY common issue with Google Devices.. You would think since its so common that Google would fix it, I guess they simply don't care. This issue did not occur on my Alexa devices, only the google one.

Thank you @SaGe1 ! I agree--you'd think they would fix this... thank you for taking the time to reply & for the help--much-appreciated. We moving off of Google devices as this experience was crap.
