Hello, I have searched for threads (here and elsewhere) and found similar problems but not quite what I'm experiencing, and the suggestions haven't been applicable or worked for me. I apologize in advance if it has been addressed and I missed it, and thank you in advance for either helping or pointing me in the right direction!
I currently have one Google Nest speaker and three Minis. I'm not sure of their generation, but they might be first... I believe at least one of them was from when they were still called "Home." They've worked fine for a few years, but over the past several months, I'm experiencing an odd problem with all but one mini just dropping out of my home setup. They don't completely disappear, but when I go to my "Devices" screen, instead of appearing in the correct room, they're listed at the bottom. They also vanish from all groups. The way I often realize it's happened is that I'll give a "Hey Google..." command, and it will reply, "Sorry, something went wrong. Please log in through the Google Home app." At least once a day, I go into the app and add them back to the rooms. They also disconnected from any groups I had set up, and when I try to add them, I get the "There was a problem communicating with Google..." pop up. One odd thing is that it started with just one speaker having the problem, then another, now the third. So I'm a bit nervous the fourth will eventually do the same!
Obviously, it's a bit of a first world problem and I can continue manually adding them to rooms and selecting each speaker one at a time when I want them all to play, but it is REALLY frustrating. (Especially if, for example, I've got my hands completely full and just want to ask it for the weather and it replies with, "Sorry, something went wrong..." for no apparent reason.)
Has anyone encountered this before? Any ideas on how to fix it? I'm not a super techie and would prefer not to go tinkering with my actual internet settings, so if you can give me the Idiot's Guide version, I'd be incredibly grateful.

Hi jillianisntjill,
Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should. Try to create a new home structure, then factory reset your Google speakers, set them up to the new home structure, and observe if it makes a difference. Check out the steps and helpful link below:
Note: You can have up to 5 homes in your account.
Factory reset Google Nest or Home speakers or displays
