I've had two Nest Minis Gen 2 configured as a stereo pair for a year now. They've been great. Until this week, when I began getting the message "I can't connect to the other speaker in this pair, make sure it is connected to power and WiFi" whenever I try to play music to it. I have deleted the pair and recreated. I have factory reset both minis and re added. I have created a new custom room and put the minis in their. I have created a new home and new room and put the minis in there. Each time I reset both minis before starting. Each time the pair is created successfully and I get the "confirmation tone" from both speakers. And each time the exact same error occurs when trying to play music to the pair. Beyond frustrated.

Google support is an oxymoron.

Hi cfischer69,
I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. Are you using Android or iOS? Were there any recent changes made before it started? If possible, try to use another network and observe if it makes a difference.
I look forward to your response.
Regards,
Juni

Nothing changed in my side. Each speaker works fine independently. Just not as a pair. I use the Google Home app on my ios device. But I typically initiate casting from an Android device or just with a voice command....neither of which works when they are configured as a stereo pair. There are other reports of people experiencing the same problem all of a sudden.
