Hello 

I asked this question a few months ago but no one responded.   I am certain there is a solution to my problem.

I can listen to the tv sound through my nest audio speakers, but sound and picture are hopelessly out of sync.

I can't be only one with this problem.

The bottom line, is that this is not currently a supported function.  I strongly suggest you use the feedback function in the Home app to request this functionallity.

I don't want to nitpick but it does work.

There is just this timelag which varies by the way.

Sometimes it is very small, sometimes larger.
