Is there a way to play my TV sound with Google speaker groups?
My TV is the Vizio v705x-j03 which has Chromecast built in.
I haven't been able to get the tv to play music with other Google/nest speakers at the same time.
I also can't get the TV audio to play through any of my Google/nest speakers.
What's going on here? Did I do something wrong? I thought the TV I got supports these features as it's a brand new smart TV with Chromecast built it.
I already tried to restarting all the devices and even recreating the entire home in the Google home app. Already tried resetting to factory defaults on all devices as well.

Hey kittermant,
Thanks for posting. Please note that we don't officially support pairing any of our Google Home and Nest speakers with Chromecast or cast-enabled TV as an audio output for video playing. Our Google Home/Nest devices are standalone speaker/displays, and it is best to add it on your TV with a Chromecast device in a speaker group to play music, podcasts, and other audio entertainment.
We're always looking for ways to improve -- we'll take this as feedback, and we'll gladly pass it along to the team. You can also send feedback using your device by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback." Visit this link for more steps.
Let me know if I can assist with anything else, otherwise I’ll be locking this thread after 24 hours.
Cheers,
Muddi

When you say this what do you mean? I don't understand.
"Our Google Home/Nest devices are standalone speaker/displays, and it is best to add it on your TV with a Chromecast device in a speaker group to play music, podcasts, and other audio entertainment. "

Hey kittermant,
Sorry for the delays. If you have a Chromecast device connected to your TV, you can add it to a speaker group but will only allow you to play music from cast-enabled music services like YouTube Music and Spotify.

Muddi
