Terrible decision to remove media alarms

I just discovered Google is switching off media alarms. This is disgraceful. I want to wake up listening to the radio not an alarm sound. 

Please please please tell me why I shouldn't just bin my Google mini and buy an alexa instead.

I agree, I hope Google reconsiders this decision and adds music alarms back to their speakers.  Radio alarms aren't new, I had one more than 15 years ago

The issue with this type of routine is that is not flexible enough.

A couple of days ago you could change the song and alarm time on the go. Now you either wake up at the same hour with the same song everyday, or create LOTS of routines and remember what the trigger phrase is for each one of them.

It was so easy and they just overcomplicated it because "it was underused" according to them
