Unable to stereo pair

Hi. Please forgive me if this has been asked before.

I have a 1st gen mini speaker and a 2nd gen mini speaker, both are in the same network and the same room within home app.

Can they be stereo paired?

I don't have this option within the settings menu of either speaker and was wondering why.

Hi @jediyoda67

Both devices need to be the same model (Example: 2 Nest Mini speakers or 2 Nest Audio speakers) and located in the same room.

That is why you aren't seeing the stereo pair option. You can group them though.

Hello jediyoda67,

I wanted to follow up and see if you still need help. Check on the link @JillG provided about grouping speakers since the stereo pair requires 2 speakers of the same model to work.

Please let me know if you are still having any concerns or questions from here, as I would be happy to help you if you decide to create a speaker group.
