Unexpected Response From Server Error Message

Hello I'm trying to set up my google mini and I have downloaded the google home app and it keeps saying unexpected response from server and won't bypass that page. I have rebooted my phone, uninstalled the app several times, updated my phone and my app. Nothing works

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I am sorry that you are having an unexpected response from a server error message, but no need to worry; help is here. We appreciate all of your previous troubleshooting efforts.I need to know a few things about your Google Mini in order to provide you with a better resolution.

  • Could you please check if your Google Nest Mini is linked to the same Google account that you use in your Google Home app?
  • What is the error message or error code when you try to set up the Google Mini?
  • How long ago did you own your Google Nest Mini device?
  • Has the device been dropped or knocked over? 
  • Have you tried connecting the Google Nest Mini to a different power source?
