Hello, I just got a Next Hub Max. Traded out a Nest Hub for the Max because my wife wanted something that she could view recipes on while working in the kitchen. However, the use of the browser on the Nest Hub Max seems terrible.
The browser constantly times out and has to be re-opened.
She is trying to access recipes on Pintrest, but every single time she uses it, she has to log in again...then it times out and she has to re-open the browser and go to Pintrest again and log in...again.
It seems very bizarre to me that a company that started as a web search engine and web browser would have such a problem with using the internet on it's device.
Is there some way to fix this issue? Does the Hub Max not save login information? Has Google ever addressed this issue with their device?
Please help.
Thanks,
KooolHandLuke

Hi KooolHandLuke,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this kind of experience with your new Nest Hub Max. To answer your question, your Nest Hub Max doesn’t save any login information for security purposes since the device itself doesn’t need to be logged in.
For your other concern, how long does it take for your Nest Hub Max to time out when browsing for recipes? Does it go idle? If so, there is a way to adjust the idle time. Here are the steps:
Hope this helps.
Best,
Dan
