White noise - google home won’t stop playing it!

my google home device dutifully starts playing relaxing sounds for 12 hours which is fab for my newborn going to sleep.

Unfortunately, when I ask it to stop it tells me ‘nothing is playing right now’ and I have to unplug the device and reboot it to make it stop.

has anyone had the same issue/know a fix for it?

Yes! The voice command to stop it no longer works. I can't figure out what to do besides stopping it on my phone.

Found a solution... "Hey google, cancel" @Donnie1989

Brilliant! It worked! Like you I was stopping the casting from my phone.
