I am in the UK. I recently purchased a nest hub (2nd Gen) and was able to choose YouTube music FREE (not limited to a time scale) Today I had a nest mini delivered but cannot connect to the same free service as on the hub without paying for the Premium service which I cannot afford. The mini is for a disabled person's bedroom and she wants to have different songs playing at the same time as the hub is playing an alternative song. in other words working independently of each other. Thanks in advance for help and a solution Tony

Create a Google account for that person. Set them up with their own YTM account. Add them to your home using this Google account, and turn on voice match. It would also be benifical to remove the mini in thier room from the house, and then readd it using their account. That way they are the default user of that mini.

Thank you Kiltguy2112. I am 74 years old but think I understand. When you say remove mini do you mean take it outside away from the wifi? I now need to cook dinner so will not be able to proceed until tomorrow

No, remove it from the app, and reset it so that you can do the setup again. When you do the setup again, use the persons account (phone).

Thank you kiltguy2112 for persevering with a 74 year old fart like me, I am so grateful for your input and help. I eventually got a Gmail account on my disabled wife's phone, it now has 2 mine as well as her new one, can mine be removed without affecting the account on my phone. I did a factory reset on the mini and loaded up her new account details, I was then able to select Youtube music (Free service available) but unfortunately it still does not work as it does on the hub. As before it states Premium is reqd. and then plays a radio channel. The only thing I did not do was find out how to set her up with a YTM (I do understand) account despite many failed attempts as to how on Google. Regards Tony
