YouTube not working

Yesterday my Google nest hub did not willing play youtube video or music when asked directly to open YouTube to wait and open black screen and fw mints wait assistant reply something went wrong wait when we ready givan other try thats issues faced how to resolve this plz help me

I'm also encountering this problem on a Nest Hub. Specific to Youtube content, no matter the medium of request - selecting on the device itself, voice command or casting from the Youtube app.

Pleased to hear it's not a local issue but frustrated I've just wasted a heap of time trying to troubleshoot.

Same here. I am from Hyderabad, India and when i try to access youtube or youtube music it goes into black screen and after 5 mins or so, it says, something went wrong, when ready try again

Tried changing account, factory reset, but the problem persists


Spotify, screen casts are working okay

I've been having the same issue. When I asked my Google Nest Mini 2 to play music, it says the confirmation message, but doesn't play. After a minute, it says, "Sorry, something went wrong. "When you're ready, give it another try."

Since everyone is having this issue, this probably means Google needs to roll out a fix.

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. I wanted to follow up and see if I could be of any help. Since most of you already did the reset, could you try doing the sequential reboot? First, unplug your Nest speakers/displays for 30 seconds, then do the same thing on your Wi-Fi router to refresh both devices and your Wi-Fi signal.

So, this issue was fixed by Google. About 30min-1hr later when I was going to do what you said, I checked again one last time to see if the problem persists. Thankfully, the music successfully started playing. Problem resolved.
