YouTube plays rotated and flashes/strobes(workaround when Wyze Account unlinked) Nest hub display 2G

We received a Wyze cam v3/Nest Hub Display bundle. We now have 3 Wyze Cam v3’s on the system adding a third today and completing the setup on the Nest Hub. Wyze was already linked to our existing Home Minis/Chromecasts through Android Home App on receipt of this cam/hub without glitch or bug.

However. No YouTube video plays (on the display/hub) without rotation to left 90 degrees, distorted and strobing.

Unlinking Wyze from “Home” group in the Home (android) App repairs the frustrating condition and functionality to YouTube is full. Workaround. 😟

I have been forced to elect in favor of the Wyze security cam functionality. We really wish we could watch YouTube as well as view our security cams. We are disappointed in the compromise we are making with this workaround. Please help!

I had this problem with I tried to stream a YouTube video to the Nest Hub. I went into the Home app and rebooted my Nest Hub and the problem went away.

Have the exact same issue. I bought my nest hub through wyze with their black Friday deal. Hooked it up and my wyze account was already connected... Every YouTube video plays rotated 90° and flickering...  Just hooked it up today and already having issues!

Can't wait to give it a try. I hate it and very much LOVE it when the solution was there and easy all the while. I offer an presumptive thanks.

I should say it is deep in Home App (android experience).

Select display wherever it is organized (or not) in a room in your home/nest devices>>In (Your Display Name) display select 3 dot contextual menu>>Select "Open device settings">>Once again select this 3 dot menu>>Select "Reboot"

All done; wait for reboot and enjoy YouTube

Hey this suggestion actually helped! I had already unplugged and replugged etc. But didn't know there was an option to reboot in the app! Thanks.
