default podcast provider cannot be set

Since google podcast has been closed I have been trying to set a default podcast app, but on the dedicated page there is no app I can select, if I ask google nest to play a podcast whether I ask it in Italian or English I always get the same answer, that it is not possible. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Hi I found this phrase that works "resume my podcast" there's a problem it continues from Google podcast but every time I listen even if I go forward three episodes it picks up where I left off the first time the episode of 14 June

How come it picks up from Google podcast if it is closed?
If I ask to play the same podcast from Spotify it tells me it's not possible.
