google assistant

i am really tired of google assistant letting anyone and everyone control my google home. seems like the tv or if I am on speaker phone. anybody can say hey google turn on/off something . this shouldn't be aloud . does google care about my privacy??? this what i want to happen. google home lets me invite people to my google home app. these should be the only people . That should have access to devices in my home.

Believe me I've share feedback multiple times a day.  Its kinda like religion . You often wonder if the creators ever hear you.

I like it that Google home or Nest devices are designed for easy use within a secure home environment. If you have children or freinds that you can not trust, or educate to not issue commands there's an option to disable the microphone on these devices.

Hey folks,

Thanks for the help Cathal_S.

Ynotdoit Since Google Home or Google Nest speakers and displays are voice activated, it will respond to anyone as long as they use the hotword. On the other hand, it will not provide any personal information as long as you set up your voice match. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take it as feedback.

Best,

Alex
