sleep sensing error

amandacolorado

hey everybody, I'm having trouble calibrating the sleep sensing on my nest hub 2nd gen. I've had it on ever since I bought it in April and have recalibrated it before with no problems. but now when I try it says "something went wrong" and tells me to read the instructions and try again. I have tried everything. turned off both fans, turned on lights, laid on my back, laid facing the display, even rebooted but nothing works. no one is in the room when I'm trying to recalibrate. I can't seem to find any answers. I'm in Florida.

Hi amandacolorado,

Thanks for reaching out. Oh no! That is not great to hear to your sleep sensing feature is not working. I understand your concern and would be more than happy to help find a solution.

First, I appreciate you taking the time to try a variety of troubleshooting steps.

Let's try two more steps.

  • Could you try to reboot your router?
  • Could you do a Factory Data Reset on your device?
    • A factory reset will reset your device to its default factory settings.
    • Note: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone.
  • After those steps, does the issue still occur?

I look forward to your response, thanks for your patience!
