Hello,
as I'm sure you know there are lots of apps that are required for smart devices (lights, plugs, tv, etc) each of them require me to download a different app on my phone in order to use them with my google assistant. I was wondering if the google hub is able to install these apps directly to the display so I can remove them from my phone or if I would need to keep the apps installed on my phone to keep my lights functioning properly.

I can control all the apps of google hub installed on my phone, lights, sockets, television, apps. I usually download 3rd party apps as apk from this site https://www.apkpink.com/ what exactly do you want to do? By the way, how can I use these applications on more than 1 phone? can you help me in this regard?

I would like to be able to uninstall these apps from my phone and have them only on the hub itself. I was thinking of buying one, but if it doesn't allow me to free up space on my phone, it wouldn't be much benefit to me since I already have google speakers.
the applications as far as I know don't need to be in more then one phone, its just an in between app so having it on one phone would allow you to use it with any assistant in your home, if you mean you wanna have the third party apps on more then one phone, without a google assistant, i would think there wouldn't be an issue but I'm not too sure

Hey folks,
Thanks for reaching out, and apologize for the delayed response.
Installing any applications on the Google Nest Hub is not supported. For now, the device only shows the devices and media services that are linked to your account. We're always looking for ways to improve and we'll take this as feedback and pass it along to the team. I also suggest that you send feedback using your devices by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback" or by following the steps on this link.
Please note that you can still control your smart devices via voice command using your Google Home/Nest devices even if the native app itself is not installed on your phone. The only time that you need the third-party app is if you encounter some issues on the smart device itself, or if you need to configure some settings that are only available on the native app.
@aishaaaa: To confirm, do you mean the third-party applications for your smart devices?
Looking forward to your response,
Cheers,
Muddi
