Blue light on my new chromecast

I just connected a brand new chromecast to my TV.I have been unable to connect to it.it shows a solid blue light

Genuine Chromecast doesn't have a blue led light color. Where did you purchase it from?

Thanks for that.I couldn't find how to attach a picture. So started a new post with the picture. I'm in New Zealand. Purchased from a shop

I saw your other thread. That isn't a genuine Chromecast so we can't support further I'm afraid. The middle of that photo uses a letter 'C' instead of a letter 'G' like a genuine product.
