Bring back group volume control for Chromecast Audio after Sonos patent?

I still use Chromecast audio for multiroom playback. I know this is an old product but it would be really nice to have the group volume control back in the Home app and on the phone's volume rocker. Really glad the Sonos BS patent was cancelled btw 🙂

Hi Glaudio,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. I understand that before, the speaker group had that. But now, volume control needs to be done on individual speakers/devices. I suggest you send feedback about this via the Google Home app.

i suggest you guys fix this ..........group vol should be back, case overturned "NEEDS" to be fixed

If you have the same concern, kindly send feedback via the Google Home App. There’s no guarantee that it will be reinstated, but if a number of users request this, hopefully Google will reconsider. After all, Google always listens to customers needs. Let us know if you still have questions or other concerns.
