Can't cast ITVX after it shows ready to cast

When I cast itvx to my TV with chrome cast from my iPad or android phone it works fine until the first advert. But then the TV shows "ready to cast" and I can't watch any more. I don't know how to fix this.

Thank you so much for posting in this community. I'm sorry to hear that you aren't able to cast ITVX on both devices (Android and iOS).

At the moment, i need to ask a few questions to give the correct troubleshooting:

• Were you able to cast the ITVX app before? 
• Does the app have the cast icon?
• Are you able to cast other apps such as Youtube, Prime Video or etc?
• What troubleshooting have you done so far?
• What kind of Generation of TV with chromecast do you have?

It is the first time I have tried the itvx app. I see the cast option and it does work until the first advert break. Then the TV says "ready to cast" and I can't watch any more.

I can cast other channels successfully. The model number seems to be  chromecast NC2-6A5 1600.

The iPad model number is:  MLMY2B/A

ITVX app version: 18.5.2

Thank you for the update. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to the previous questions.

At the moment, we can move forward and provide you some troubleshooting:

• Uninstall the app and then install it back
• Clear the cache
• Disconnect the Wi-Fi router from the socket and leave it unplugged for 2 minutes and plug back in 
• Reboot the Chromecast

• Try to use a different cell phone
